An America’s Got Talent contestant from season 16 has died. Kabir Singh was 39 years old and police are currently waiting on toxicology results to determine a cause of death
America’s Got Talent contestant Kabir Singh has died at 39 years old.
Kabir appeared on the talent competition reality show in 2021 during season 16. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Kabir died on Wednesday, Dec. 4 and authorities are currently waiting on toxicology results to determine a cause of death. He was in the San Francisco Bay Area when he died. According to the publication, Kabir had a history of health issues and investigators believe he could have died due to natural causes.

The former America’s Got Talent contestant made it to the semi-finals on the NBC reality show. He performed stand-up in front of Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara.

Kabir had been doing stand-up comedy around the United States this year. According to his last Instagram post from November 2, he performed a sold-out show in Manteca, California, and was thanking his fans. Fans commented under the post and mourned the loss of one of their favorite comedians.

You were funny even when you weren’t trying to be and gave solid, memorable advice to those who asked. You will be greatly missed. RIP.”
